Born 1966 in Yorkshire England in 2000 she moved to Victoria B.C. and "came out" after her second marriage ended.
She soon launched herself into the GLBTQ Community with passion, creating Victoria's lesbian buddy program, a board member of Victoria Pride, and using her power as a performing artist to raise funds & awareness with shows like the Vagina Monologues, Lez Girls, Queerly Canadian and many others.
NiQ more recently has started groups in Delta B.C. to bring together members of the Lesbian community in a social environment. She continues to advocate for equal rights and leverages her power of performance, and dynamic personality, to break through societal barriers and help change people's perceptions.
NiQ is an inspiration for many throughout the pacific Northwest, her talent has inspired the lives of many.
